Other Internal Performance Specifications

1、  Upon Power Up sequence, unit should not "alarm" during power up
2、  Internal Thermal LimitsDuring 100% Resistive Load Test, after temperature obtains equilibrium (stabilization):   4-6 hours small units, 8-10 hours large units)
      A )Limit of 10ºC Temperature Rise in Cabinet from input Ambient Air to Output Air
      B) Maximum IGBT Junction Temperature should be limited to 107º - 115ºC
      C )Maximum Heatsink Temperature should be  < 85ºC
      D )Temperature Extended from Ambient to +55ºC can be done with calculation of (55ºC - ambient) x 1.3 as a rule of thumb to add values
3、  Fans should be properly rated at 65ºC minimum
4、  Transformers & Magnetics4Transformers, chokes should be Class H Insulation and operate at no more than 110-120ºC
5、  All transformers & wire to be copper
6、  DC Capacitors No greater than 75% utilization of DC buss to Capacitor Rating (example:  540V/900VDC = 60%)
7、  All capacitors should be 85ºC rated or higher
8、  < 1% RMS Ripple on DC Buss (example: 4 Volts RMS / 540 VDC Buss = 0.7% ripple)
9、  Thermal Design SoftwareIt is highly recommended that:aThermal Simulation software tools be used for overall cabinet thermal design, and bThermal Simulation software tool similar to R-tools.com be used for Heatsink design.
10、 Board & Component MarkingAll Board and component Marking should be removed
11、 Factory TestingFactory Test procedures will be provided by Precision Power, and will be submitted and approved prior to shipment.
